The City is updating its General Plan, which will guide the City’s future for the next 20 years. To help create a plan that reflects the community’s needs and desires, the City is hosting a General Plan Update pop-up booth during the Ukiah PumpkinFest 2019. The pop-up booth will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Alex R. Thomas Plaza. Stop by our booth for a few minutes and help make Ukiah the best it can be.
At the General Plan booth, you can learn about existing conditions and trends that will influence the future and provide feedback on what you think are the main issues and opportunities the General Plan should address. The General Plan booth will also have an interactive exercise to identify specific areas of the City you would like to see change.

The General Plan Update is a pivotal opportunity to shape the future of Ukiah. Through the Update process, the City and its advanced planning specialists, with input from the public and stakeholders, will consider new, pertinent topics, such as climate change and resiliency, environmental justice, and public health, to ensure Ukiah is positioned to achieve its vision for the future.
As the Update progresses, this website will be your primary source for information. Please check back for drafts of project documents and opportunities to engage in the Update process- including dates and times of events and meetings.
